papillary Carcinoma  (local recurrence)


Woman, 36 y.o.
Former total thyroidectomy owing to multifocal papillary carcinoma with mediastinal lymph node metastasis (pT4b N1 M0).
Small nodule in the base of the neck, between the right carotid and the trachea.
Very little captation of the iodine in the base of the neck. 
Thyroglobulin: < 2 ng.

FNAB: papillary carcinoma ( not measurable thyroglobulin in the needle washing).

Power and colordoppler of the nodule.
Ultrasound scan of the nodule.
Magnetic resonance of the ceck.
Computerized tomography of the neck.
