(right) in longitudinal section of the left lobe of the
thyroid. Small paratracheal nodule in
the upper pole (mm 8.5 x 8.3 x 10.4): hypoechoic and
dishomogeneous structure, irregular borders with no
halo sign. Peripheral and inside vascularization.
Fine needle aspiration: papillary
carcinoma.
