Solitary firm nodule in the isthmus of the thyroid.
The nodule (16 x 35 x 35 mm, 10.3 cc) is very hypoechoic, dishomogeneous; the
borders are irregular with no halo sign; microcalcifications in the apex.
Powerdoppler (lower) and colordoppler (upper) scan: vascularization inside
the nodule.
