Solitary nodule in the lower pole of the right lobe (15 x 23 x 26 mm, 4,6 ml),
solid, with not well defined borders, dyshomogeneous, with hypoechoid
areas.
Vascularization around and inside
the nodule.
Fine needle aspiration: Hurthle cells follicular neoplasm.
Histologic exam: Hurthle cell papillary carcinoma, with capsular and
vascular invasion.
