PAPILLARY CARCINOMA

Female, 34 y.o.
Graves desease four years before, treated with metimazole.

Transverse (upper) and longitudinal (lower) section of the right lobe and isthmus of the thyroid.
Small nodule in the lower pole (mm 10.8x19.6x19.3): hypoechoic and dishomogeneous structure,  irregular borders with no halo sign with altered anterior capsular profile.

Fine needle aspiration: papillary carcinoma.

Postsurgical image and histological examination: multifocal papillary carcinoma and lymph node metastasis.
