Woman, 23 y.o.
Small nodule in the right lobe of the thyroid
(mm 12.1 x 16.0 x 19.3), hypoechoic, dishomogeneous, with small
hyperechoid spots, without posterior acoustic shadow. The
borders (particularly the posterior) are irregular and the
anterior capsular profile is altered.
Fine needle aspiration: papillary
carcinoma.
Histologic confirmation.
