NEEDLE ASPIRATION
Man, 26 y.o.
Right lobe of the thyroid: cistic nodule (c in the image),
anechoic with echo enhancement behind the posterior wall.
The dots from the right high to the down left of the picture
are the way the needle will run. The distance between each
dot is 10 mm.

insertion.
The tip of the needle is just in the center of the nodule,
between the second and the third dot of the guide.
Cytologic exam: benign cistic nodule.
