Left lobe agenesis

Woman, 70 y.o.

Progressive dysphonia owing to right recurrent laryngeal nerve palsy.
Large nodule in the right lobe (35 x 25 x 43 mm, 19 ml).
The left lobe is not visible.
The trachea is displaced to left.

Calcitonin = 820 pg/ml  (n.v. < 10 pg).
CEA=638 ng/ml (n.v. < 8 ng).

FNA: medullary carcinoma (spindle cells).
Histological examination: medullary carcinoma.
